Waiting to welcome you to The Gannet is Restaurant Manager Kevin Dow and his team. And it’s within those first few moments that the warmth of the full Gannet experience begins – whether you’re a familiar face or coming for the first time.
Not just Glaswegian but West End born and bred, Kevin joined us in 2014 after many years with other high-profile city restaurants. His expansive knowledge of food and wine is a personal passion that he shares enthusiastically with the rest of his team. (Secret: he’s a forager in the wild in his spare time.)
While the kitchen goes about its business of creating memorable dishes downstairs, Kevin oversees the atmosphere of conviviality in the restaurant. “Everything is about perfecting the customer experience, making their time with us that bit more personalised.” Efficient service is a given at The Gannet, he says. “But it’s seeing customers leave with our hospitality in their eyes that makes the difference."
